About Patsy

Mission

My mission is to empower you and teach you to de-clutter your environment and your time commitments so you find more satisfaction and control in your life.

My Story

"Some people regard discipline as a chore. For me, it is a kind of order that sets me free to fly." - Julie Andrews

I am not naturally organized. In the past, I didn't write things down, and I missed appointments. I lost things. I'd waste time drifting through the day with no plan, and thePatsyn wonder why I could never seem to accomplish anything. My self-esteem was not the best.

One day, I was mentioning to a friend that my son had similar characteristics, and she suggested he might have ADD. A light went off in my head. I read as much as I could about ADD and learned that I probably have ADD, and recognize ADD characteristics in my son and in other members of my family.

Now, if you asked people who know me, they would say I was organized. That is because I learned how to use systems and routines and external tools (such as a timer) to help me stay organized. Through my coach training I learned to question which beliefs were holding me back such as "smart people don't have to write things down."

I have personally experienced simplifying my own life, by moving to a smaller space, and arranging that space to support my values and the activities that make me feel most alive. The time and effort required to simplify has freed up more time and energy so that I feel open and available to choose from all opportunities that come my way, including enjoying time with my husband, Gil, my dog, Scruggs, and my brilliant granddaughter, Elizabeth.

My years of learning to be better organized through trial and error, by classes and reading have made me an empathetic coach and organizer. I have been there, and I understand your challenges.

You too can experience miraculous changes when you simplify and organize your life! It is my firm belief that many people are not born organized, but if they truly want to, they can learn, and will be happier and more productive as a result of the time, effort, and resources they invest to de-clutter, devise new systems, and stay organized.
