Who Are My Clients?

  • Working women with family who feel pulled in too many directions and want more calm in their lives.
  • Business owners with home offices who keep saying: "Someday, I'll do that" (paint, write, or other creative action) but never seem to get started.
  • Those who waste time looking for things, or buy duplicates, because they don't have time to organize their homes or offices.
  • People who have trouble saying "no" to requests from others and want more time for themselves.
  • Adults diagnosed with ADD, or who think they may have ADD who want more focus and structure.
  • Seniors or others who want to "downsize" due to empty nest, retirement, or other life changes.

Here's what my clients are saying...

About Organizing

Peg K., Consultant with in-home office

Thank you so much for transforming my office chaos into office efficiency. The key was your teaching me a new approach to prevent creating new piles of paper and returning to my old bad habits.

Your straightforward and gentle encouragement made it easy for me to learn a new way to think about all the materials I accumulate in my consulting work. Now, I consider how I will use the information in future, and what materials really make sense to retain. The simple organizing systems you taught me are invaluable .

While I love the organized look and feel of my office space, what I love even more is the increased productivity resulting from it. I do not lose names and numbers or notes from conversations anymore. This sense of being on top of my work rather than fearing things have dropped through the cracks, is worth its weight in gold...and peace of mind.

Thank you again.

Norma D, a busy travel agent

Before Patsy came to help me organize my closets I didn't want to tackle the job because I had old and new clothes spilling out of the already too small closets and was pressed for time. But she helped me get started with some coaching over the phone.

Then we worked together going through everything in three closets, and Patsy helped me by encouraging me to try everything on - a task easier to defer to "another time".

After organizing my closets with Patsy, I can find clothes suitable for travel and upcoming occasions which I know will fit and look well. I took a ton of old or unsuitable clothes to Goodwill which made me feel freer and lighter!

I can recommend Patsy to anyone who needs to find the time and motivation to do an overwhelming organizing task. She made the job easier by setting goals with me and gently encouraging me to stick with it!

About Coaching

Pamela - a busy single mother of two who wanted to change jobs and move

"Thinking back over the past few months that we have been working together, I have to say that I am eternally grateful for your offer of a complimentary coaching session, so glad I had the good sense to continue coaching with you.

I know now that it was the way I was thinking about things, and not taking action, that was keeping me in a place where I felt stagnant and powerless to change.

I feel like my work with you has awakened me from a not so pleasant dream where I could get nothing done and only hoped that something would change for me. It's your ability to really listen, and hear what is not being said explicitly, that makes you so good at what you do…

Even on days when I thought "I don't have an hour to spare for this," keeping my appointment with you has made a huge difference for me. Each session has given me both inspiration and sound, practical advice that helped move me through the next step in the process a little more efficiently, focused and calmer.

Sue - A mid-life single working woman surrounded by clutter

"Thank you very much for the coaching. Particularly helpful were the following:

Encouraging me to stop and think about what's most important to me so I make better choices.

Giving real examples from your life where you saw similarities in mine.

Sharing organizing systems that have worked for your clients.

Helping me to see that living in an organized home helps make everything else in my life more ordered.

Checking in with you at regular intervals was also very helpful."

Denise - Photographer and small business owner, struggling to balance pressures of work and personal life:

I have worked with other coaches in the past, but found that Patsy was able to zoom in and focus right away on what I needed most. She and I chose specific goals to achieve, with fieldwork to do between coaching sessions. Since coaching with Patsy, I am more aware of the times I need to take care of my own needs better, and not say "yes" to everyone else. I have cut back on volunteering and am making plans to change my business so that I have fewer customers, higher prices, and better service to my customers. In this way I'll have more time for my own needs, which had always been overlooked in the past.

About Speaking to Your Group

K.W. (U.U. women in Work group)

Patsy's talk to our group was excellent. She used two volunteers to demonstrate her approach to coaching, and she asked the rest of us to follow along writing our own goals and responses as she coached the volunteers. This made the talk very real and personal as opposed to theoretical. I found her to be just the right mix of professional, empathetic, understanding, and resourceful. Her methods are practical. Her upbeat, flexible demeanor coupled with a dash of humor not only reveals a positive outlook, but keeps the process lively and fun.
